Dr. Ryan Gaffner

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Ryan Gaffner grew up in Burke, Virginia where he was raised bilingual speaking both English and Spanish. His passion for healthcare was sparked while serving at the local volunteer fire department as an emergency medical technician (EMT). 

He attended Virginia Tech for a degree in Biological Sciences prior to completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. During his time at VCU he held leadership positions in the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Hispanic Student Dental Association (HSDA).

He is currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Virginia Dental Association (VDA).

In his free time, he enjoys traveling to experience new cultures and cuisine with friends. His favorite trip has been hiking in Bergen, Norway to experience the untouched landscape. Dr. Gaffner also enjoys working out, golfing, photography and live music.
